Alberta Project - Maskwacis Cultural College

In mid-August this year, Borrum Energy Solutions representatives spent a number of days at the Maskwacis Cultural College in Alberta. The purpose of this trip was to educate and train students on wind energy and various assembling techniques through a hands-on learning experience. More specifically, students learnt how to assemble a tilt tower system, assemble a microgeneration turbine, and how to raise the wind turbine system as a whole.

The event was a success considering that students learnt about wind energy and successfully install a microgeneration wind turbine on top of a guyed wire tilt tower system. Finally, the college will benefit from the electricity generated by the installed Anorra microgeneration wind turbine.

We at Borrum Energy Solutions are very proud of this project as it supports the economic and social development objectives that are a part of our mission!

Special thanks to Iron & Earth for sponsoring this project!
