What Makes Borrum Energy Solutions Generators World Class

Here at Borrum Energy Solutions, we pride ourselves on providing the best quality products possible to our customers, and the generator is no exception. The generator is the heart of a turbine, and we’ve designed ours to perform exceptionally well in the harsh Canadian weather conditions.

Generators create electricity when magnets spin past copper wires, which generates a current that you can use to power your dwelling. The stationary part holding the wires is the stator, and the part with magnets spun by the blades is called the rotor.

There are some features that our turbines have been designed with to enhance their durability, reliability, safety, and performance:

  1. Efficient cooling technology: The aluminum casing around the generator has heat fins to help dissipate heat, ensuring continual optimal performance.
  2. Built for extreme heat: Even with advanced cooling, the stator is still designed to operate at temperatures as high as 150 degrees Celsius, and the magnets in the generator can operate at 120 degrees without compromising peak efficiency.
  3. Designed and built for extreme cold: Able to operate at frigid temperatures as low as -50 degrees Celsius.
  4. Protection against the elements: Our turbines have been designed with the harsh weather of Canada in mind, which is why we utilize O-rings and gaskets to keep precipitation out and protect the internal components.
  5. Containing Electricity: The entire stator has been coated with a varnish, increasing insulation and further protecting it from water damage, it also prevents any electricity shorts or leakage, improving safety and efficiency.
  6. Reduce wear and tear: The slots for the copper wire in the stator also have a special coating that prevents friction damage increasing the lifespan of the generator, as well as preventing damage from condensation and providing even more electrical resistance.

As a result of all these features, the completed Anorra turbine generator is superbly resistant to the extreme weather conditions of Canada can perform reliably at extreme heat and cold and is exceptionally reliable and safe.
