Their primary function is to regulate battery charging by controlling the flow of electricity from the turbine to the batteries. In addition to battery regulation, charge controllers can also be configured for load control by balancing power between the batteries and connected devices. When the turbine produces excess energy, the controller safely limits or redirects power to prevent system overload, ensuring a stable and reliable electricity supply.
